Rorate Mass (1962)

Saturday | December 6 | 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM

Step into the quiet mystery of Advent with a candlelit Rorate Mass, a cherished tradition celebrated in the stillness before dawn. Named after the Introit for the Mass – “Rorate caeli” — “Drop down, ye heavens” — this Mass honors the Blessed Virgin Mary and anticipates the coming of Christ, the Light of the World.
As the church begins in darkness, illuminated only by flickering candlelight, we journey together toward the rising sun — a powerful symbol of Christ’s rising as the sign of hope, incarnation, and divine light breaking into our lives.
Let the silence, the beauty, and the unfolding light draw you deeper into the heart of Advent.
